After putting together my new chair! Very nice...

She got camo...she was against the wall saying..."Can you see me?"

Our new pics Laura and I got made. Mom and dad were very surprised!

5 days til Christmas. Craziness isn't it. Where did this past year go? I must've slept through the fireworks on the 4th, the swimming parties during the summer, the turkey in November. Before we know it, New Years is among us. I'm not sure I like this fast paced world we live in. What happened to slowing down and smelling the roses? Where did all the lollygagging and hanging out go? It's a mystery.

In case I don't make it back here before Christmas, I hope everyone has a blessed day and without sounding like a cliche, don't forget the reason for the season.

School is officially over for the semester! I ended up with 2 A's, 1 B, and 1 C. A 3.25. Not too shabby!

Wow, only one final left and then I'm done for the semester! Woo hoo! And (hopefully) next semester and summer will be my last. DEFINITELY by next December I will be DONE with school :) It's taken longer than I ever planned, but that's life isn't it? You never know what will happen.

I think my game plan is that I will take as many classes as I can without killing myself and without sacrificing my grades. Hopefully by the time August rolls around, I will only be about 6 or 7 hours short, and by then I should've been offered another fulltime position at work, so I thought I'd work fulltime and go to school parttime that last semester. I'd be making more money and saving it so I'd have a good nest egg before I got out into the "real world". Who knows, maybe even after I graduate I'll find an even better job! I love the company I work for, I can't wait to get higher up in the food chain.

Alicia and I went to the Christmas Festival in Natchitoches last weekend. It has changed so much since I lived there. When we were there, they kept all the lights off during the fireworks show, and it culminated to one big flip of the switch. Now, they have music playing and lights on the bridge flashing to the beat of the music. How much more touristy can you get? It's crazy. I was disappointed. BUT, I got to see Samantha and her HUGE engagement ring. I'm so excited for her. I know Jeremy will make her happy. I can't wait til the wedding and go to visit her when she moves to Atlanta!

I'm going to the dr tomorrow morning. Started feeling puny last night, just a scratchy throat and a cough and runny nose. I wanna get some meds and a shot before it gets settled in my chest. I know a few people whose kids have or have been around RSV, and a couple of adults who've had pneumonia too, so....

That's about all the update I can think of. This Saturday night is a big dinner thing for work. I'm actually dressing up, believe it or not! I have a blue dress that I'm thinking about wearing, but there's this dress at The Limited that I want too. Rachael from work is going with me to the mall Friday. She needs a jacket that goes with her dress, and I'm gonna get her opinion on the black dress that I want. It's $60, so I better make sure it looks good on me before I buy it. :) But anyway, it's a Customer Service Appreciation Dinner, and since I don't have a significant other, a bunch of us are going together. I'll probably sit with some friends that are married (they just had a baby too--cutest thing EVER).

Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying this time of year. I love it!

Your Observation Skills Get A B
Your senses are pretty sharp (okay, most of the time)
And it takes something big to distract you!
